Plan your work and then work your plan!

Plan your work and then work your plan!

This week has been an eye-opening one for me, in terms of seeing how people are planning for their future. I’ve been helping people take a look at their plans for retirement and how their finances will look when they stop working. I wish I could say that everyone was in great shape, but sadly that was far from the case. More often than not I would have someone come to me and tell me that they needed help in getting to where they wanted to be at retirement. I wish I had a magic wand to make that goal happen, because for some it really would take a little magic to get them to their goal. Does it really have to be this hard?

My husband is a carpenter and he is fond of telling me to plan my work and then work my plan. Sounds easy enough, right? You know how much you make right now, but do you know how much your expenses will be when you retire? Have you thought about the costs for those vacations you’ve been putting off? What about if you want to retire to another state and have moving expenses to consider? You should probably err on the side of caution and take your current expenses and add another 25% on top of that, as a conservative estimate.

Now it’s starting to sounds like you’ll have to continue working to be able to afford retirement? It doesn’t have to be like that at all. Just plan your work and work your plan.

One of the easiest ways to keep money coming between now and your retirement (and beyond) is a little thing called residual income. Residual income is any income generated through indirect involvement in something. I started planning my retirement many years ago and have two 401(k) accounts. I know that those accounts won’t be enough, even combined with Social Security (if there’s even any money left to pay out from Social Security when I retire!) to carry me through retirement. What I needed was residual income. Income that I could start building now and that will keep coming in month after month. For me, after quite a bit of research, I found Xpress Healthcare.

Xpress Healthcare is unique in that they are able to help every family save money. You’ll save money on healthcare, dental care, prescriptions (up to 85% off there!), chiropractor vists and the list keeps going. We include roadside assistance (no need for AAA anymore), cash back on online purchases, LifeLock identity protection and so much more. Literally, the savings are in the hundreds of dollars range and beyond!

When I help families save money with our plans, I am creating residual income for myself at the same time. Another perk is that I also receive all the benefits of our Xclusive Plan (just like our members) and am putting more money back into my pocket because of the cost savings. Isn’t that the definition of a WIN-WIN situation?

You owe it to yourself to plan your work and work your plan for retirement. It’s not too late to get started. As soon as you join Xpress Healthcare you’ll see that we already have a plan in place for you to succeed in your business. We provide you with your own websites, autoresponders, training, your own corporate email address and your own blog to Xpress your views! You’ll be building residual income for your retirement and this business is your own! You make the decisions, you work your plan and you’ll see the benefits continue to grow.
